Treating Hemorrhoids With Natural Remedies at Home

The painful swollen blood vessels causing itchiness in the lower rectum due to increased blood pressure in the veins is called hemorrhoids. Factors like obesity, diarrhea, constipation and pregnancy increase the blood pressure in rectal veins and aggravate the hemorrhoids problem. Other natural remedies for treating hemorrhoids are olive oil, baking soda and Aloe Vera gel. Drinking olive oil helps in healing the strained blood vessels in the rectal region and ensures soft bowel movements. Applying baking soda paste on the skin relieves the irritation. Similarly you can also apply Aloe Vera gel to relieve the irritation in the rectal region.

Another herb called butcher's broom is also very helpful in healing the swollen veins and tissues and also provides long term relieve from swollen. You can also add Aloe Vera gel and vitamin E for faster relieve. Butcher's broom tea and capsules are also available in the market. You can consume the capsules like pills or mix it in the water and drink.

Another very effective natural treatment for hemorrhoid is flavonoids. Flavonoids abundantly fruits and vegetables it helps in relieving the pain reducing the inflammation and also helps in strengthening the veins of the rectal region. Sitting in a bath tub for 10 to 15 minutes for at least 3 to 4 times a day in the warm water helps in relieving the distress and discomfort of hemorrhoids.
