Motivation and the Lack of It

Everyone hears the "I will start Monday," "it isn't the right time," or "there just isn't enough time for the gym excuses. These are procrastination excuses that we all tell ourselves to excuse a current lifestyle of poor eating and exercise habits. Why aren't we saying "I am starting the gym today," or "I am creating a new diet and following it immediately?" Part of the problem is due to the lack of knowledge concerning healthy eating and exercising. There is a large confusion based upon the "fit" lifestyle.

With magazines constantly changing dieting and exercise methods, doctors telling us to eat certain foods based on research that will prolong the average life expectancy, and fast food companies being more accessible than gas stations, it is no wonder why this process is so difficult and confusing. Obesity is an epidemic that is saturating the United States at an exponential rate and cannot be fixed with a pill or quick diet that promises to lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is not an extremely difficult one when given the correct tools and knowledge, and is the most self rewarding experience that a person can achieve through results, motivation, improved confidence, and by inspiring others. Living healthy is contagious to your family, friends, and even co-workers. They see your progress and start seeing your changes not just physically, but mentally as well. First Priority Fitness Inc is designed to help every person and body type achieve the knowledge and tools to reach the "fit" lifestyle and will hopefully inspire you through results to help others around you as well.
